Guest Service Manager
The World Equestrian Center is currently seeking an experienced Guest Service Manager to join our team!

Job Summary: The Guest Services Manager is a leadership position entailing the oversight of all guest service/front desk operations, including registration process, group block maintenance, guest service, revenue and rate management, hiring, training, discipline, reporting, and other duties as directed by the General Manager and Director of rooms.
Essential Functions:
- Fully train and coach all guest services team members.
- Schedules team members and ensures all required shifts are covered on daily basis
- Ensures all guest services team members are greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests properly
- Responsible for issuing important information to team members and other departments in the facility
- Ensures all guest services team members are making reservations correctly
- Verifies credit card authorization or collect cash payment, checks for all guests and groups
- Answer main telephone line and transfer to proper departments or guest units
- Processing group room block requests
- Ensures all guest service team members review guest accounts and charges upon guest check-out
- Knowledge of WEC standards and requirements.
- Knowledge of all daily equestrian shows and events.
- Constant contact with housekeeping and maintenance departments with guest issues or concerns
- Ensure complete guest satisfaction
- Effectively handle any elevated guest complaints or issues
- Ensuring daily shift duties are completed by guest service team members
- Create Microsoft Excel reports and submits to General Manager and Director of Rooms

1. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry a weight of 25lbs
2. Must be able to work walking and or standing continuously for a period of 8 hours
3. Associate may have to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
4. Associate is often required to sit and use his or her hands and fingers to handle or feel
5.Vision abilities required by this job include close vision

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexible availability to include weekends is required.
- Previous hotel housekeeping or guest services supervisory experience required.
